Featuring an exquisite dial of deep green crafted from Gibeon iron meteorite, the Czapek Antarctique Green Meteor watch is characterised by rarity and technical mastery. Housed within a 40.5mm stainless steel case, and powered by the acclaimed automatic Czapek SXH5 in-house mechanical calibre, the watch wears on an integrated steel bracelet with Czapek’s proprietary release clasp. An aesthetically pleasing model of supreme contemporary elegance, the Antarctique Green Meteor is presented in a limited edition of only 100 pieces.

Crafted from a sliver of Gibeon iron meteorite, rendered with a green polished lacquer, the dial of the Czapek Antarctique Green Meteor showcases the distinctive Widmanstätten patterns that are synonymous with this rare material, ensuring uniqueness for each individual model in this 100 piece edition. Standing out superbly against the deep green surface, the steel hour indices are set into the chapter ring above the dial, and like the hour and minute hands, are rhodium plated and have a generous application of powerful Super-LumiNova which ensures excellent legibility in all light conditions, while the sweeping seconds hand features a red tip.

Perfectly proportioned, the piece carries a stainless steel case measuring 40.5mm across, and a height of 10.6mm. The housing exhibits a profile of gently curving lines, pronounced edges and angles, and flat surfaces, further enhanced with grainy brushed finishing and contrasting high-polishing. Adhering to the case architecture, the integrated bracelet meets the case seamlessly, and features a series of polished C shaped links. An entirely wholistic design, the bracelet secures with Czapek’s ‘Easy Release’ system, and is also easily removed to be replaced with a rubber alternative which is also supplied.

Inside, the SXH5 in-house automatic calibre is designed and developed in-house by Czapek. Finished to the exacting standards of haute horlogerie it features a sandblasted and darkened mainplate, with mirror polishing, anglage and bevelling applied by hand to its components. Fully visible through the sapphire caseback, its series of cascading skeletonised bridges, and the inner workings and detailing of the free sprung balance and going train of interconnecting wheels and gears are revealed. Offset and fitted flush onto the main plate, the 100% recycled solid platinum micro rotor provides the chronometer-rated 28’800vib/h mechanism with a minimum of 60 hours of power reserve when fully wound.

An exquisite blend of sophisticated rarity and alluring elegance, the Czapek Antarctique Green Meteor offers the client the chance to add an interstellar element to their collection.
