Antarctique Frozen Meteor

The Czapek Antarctique Frozen Meteor is a limited-edition stainless steel sports watch that combines contemporary haute horlogerie with a dial crafted from genuine Gibeon meteorite. Available in 40.5mm and 38.5mm case sizes, the watch features a unique light denim-blue lacquer applied over hand-finished meteorite, revealing the naturally occurring Widmanstätten crystal pattern formed over millions of years as iron-nickel alloys cooled in space. As every meteorite slice is different, each dial is completely unique. The watch is fitted with Czapek’s new-generation V2 integrated stainless steel bracelet, which offers enhanced finishing, improved structural precision and a redesigned quick-change system.

Through the sapphire caseback, the in-house Calibre SXH5 automatic movement is visible, featuring an off-centre platinum micro-rotor, 193 components, 28 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), and a 60-hour power reserve. Distinguished by seven skeletonised bridges inspired by François Czapek’s nineteenth-century pocket watches and finished with sandblasted black surfaces, hand-chamfered inward angles and open-worked ratchet wheels, the SXH5 exemplifies the brand’s commitment to both technical innovation and traditional fine watchmaking.
