The Raketa Sovremennik is a 39.5 mm stainless‑steel mechanical watch powered by the fully in‑house Raketa calibre 2615, a 24‑jewel automatic movement beating at 18,000 vph with bi‑directional winding, a 40‑hour power reserve, manual‑winding protection, and a cobalt‑blue rotor decorated with Nevsky waves and the Sovremennik emblem, visible through the mineral exhibition caseback.
Its amphitheatre‑inspired 3D dial encodes the theatre’s founding year through the placement of the numerals 1, 9, 5, and 6, while the 7 and 0 mark both Sovremennik’s 70th anniversary and the traditional curtain‑up time; triangular avant‑garde hands create shifting compositions as they move across a colour palette drawn from original playbills.
The watch features sapphire front glass, a ruby‑set crown, 3 ATM water resistance, and a 22 mm leather strap embossed in blue and red with both Raketa and Sovremennik logos. Production limited to 100 pieces.
