Orion One

An eye-catching piece exhibiting futuristic aesthetics throughout, the Orion One watch by independent watchmaking company Behrens features a mesmerising openworked dial arrangement and unconventional time displays. Nominated for the prestigious GPHG awards in 2024, the model is housed within a multi-faceted stainless steel case measuring 38mm across, and 44mm long, which is fitted with a secret crown, and with showcase sapphire crystals to give maximum visibility to its dial side. Surrounded by a full disclosure of the mechanical components of the gear train, the central hand for the running seconds is joined by a date window at the top right position, and a linear 24-hour indicator at the upper. Viewed through its own curving sapphire, the roller style indication for the hours and minutes is enabled via an in-house module, running off a base calibre Sellita SW200 automatic movement operating at 28’800 vib/h with power reserve of 38 hours. An exceptional piece with a visually stunning composition, the model comes presented on a rubber strap with proprietary sliding quick release system for easy change over.
