Tourbillon FT60 Rose Gold

A refined independent debut in rose gold, pairing a flying tourbillon with a hand-hammered gold dial and in-house micro-rotor movement. Limited to 20 pieces.
Same watch. Different intent.
Where the steel version is about restraint, the rose gold Inaugural Tourbillon FT60 shifts the tone toward warmth and presence. The underlying mechanics remain identical. The perception changes completely.
Created by Didier Cavasino, this is a first release that avoids the usual compromise of debut independents. The focus is clear: proportion, finishing, and mechanical credibility from day one.
The flying tourbillon sits at 2 o’clock, rotating once per minute, with a subtle seconds indicator mounted on the titanium cage. Its off-centre positioning is deliberate, breaking symmetry without losing balance.
The dial remains the key differentiator. A solid 18ct white gold base is hand-hammered to create an irregular surface, then sealed with a clear enamel glaze. In rose gold, this texture takes on a different character. Less industrial, more fluid. Light interacts with the surface rather than simply reflecting off it.
The case, now in 18ct rose gold, measures 38.7mm by 10.4mm. The proportions are unchanged, but the material adds visual weight and shifts the watch firmly into classic haute horlogerie territory. Brushed surfaces are balanced by polished lugs and bezel, maintaining structure without over-polishing.
Inside, the DCR-01 calibre reinforces that this is not a design-led piece alone. A solid gold micro-rotor powers twin barrels, delivering approximately 60 hours of reserve. The movement is architecturally clean, with vertical Côtes de Genève, hand-finished bevels, and mirror-polished screws.
This is where most independents fail. Either the dial is strong and the movement is weak, or vice versa. Here, both are aligned.
Limited to 20 pieces, this is not about chasing attention. It is about controlled execution, aimed at collectors who understand the difference between a first attempt and a considered one.
