Maestro

The Christophe Claret Maestro reference MTR.DMC16.000-088 is a highly distinctive expression of independent haute horlogerie, combining architectural movement design with an elegant 42mm rose-gold case. Limited to just 88 pieces, the Maestro showcases Christophe Claret’s technical and creative approach, with an open and layered dial construction that gives the watch strong visual depth.

At its heart is the manual-winding Calibre DMC16, offering an impressive 168-hour power reserve. The watch displays hours, minutes and date, while also incorporating the model’s signature “Memo” function, a discreet mechanical reminder intended to add a playful yet practical touch to the complication. The gold-toned dial, visible mechanical architecture and refined finishing create a strong balance between classical watchmaking and contemporary independent design.

The case is paired with a black alligator leather strap and folding clasp, while 30 metres of water resistance makes it suitable for careful daily wear. As with many Christophe Claret creations, the appeal lies not only in the complication, but also in the mechanical theatre and craftsmanship visible throughout the watch.
