The Angelus Chronographe Tachymètre is a sophisticated manual-winding chronograph that pays tribute to the brand's legendary mid-20th-century chronographs while showcasing contemporary Swiss craftsmanship. Housed in a beautifully proportioned 37mm case with a slim 9.25mm profile, the watch is available in either 18-carat 3N yellow gold or stainless steel, combining vintage elegance with modern wearability. Its intricately finished dial features a grained centre, satin-finished flange, and snailed sub-dials, complemented by applied Arabic numerals and distinctive colour combinations inspired by classic motorsport aesthetics.
At the heart of the watch is the in-house Angelus Calibre A5000, a hand-wound movement operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour and delivering a 42-hour power reserve. Built around a traditional column-wheel and horizontal clutch architecture, the movement drives the chronograph indications with precision while showcasing exceptional decorative finishing visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback. A tachymeter scale calibrated to a base of 1,000 allows average speed calculations over a measured distance, reinforcing the model's racing heritage. Protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystals on both sides and water resistant to 30 metres.
