The Arnold & Son HM Pietersite is an ultra‑thin, two‑hand timepiece that pairs the brand’s classical marine‑chronometer heritage with the natural drama of a Namibian pietersite dial, whose swirling, storm‑like patterns echo the rugged Cornish coast where John Arnold was born. Housed in a 39.5 mm case available in either 18‑carat red gold or stainless steel and measuring just 7.82 mm thick, the watch maintains elegant proportions while offering 30 m of water resistance.

Its in‑house, manual‑winding calibre A&S1001—visible through a sapphire case back—measures only 2.70 mm in height yet provides a 90‑hour power reserve, operating at 3 Hz and finished to haute‑horlogerie standards with rhodium‑plated plates, radiating Côtes de Genève and blued screws. Displaying only hours and minutes, the HM Pietersite emphasises purity and restraint, complemented by an ink‑blue alligator strap and matching pin buckle. Offered in strictly limited editions—8 pieces in red gold and 18 in steel—it stands as a refined tribute to both mineral beauty and historical precision watchmaking.
