A sharper, more restrained execution of the FXR-4, pairing a re-engineered Lemania-based chronograph with a monochrome black dial. Limited to 11 pieces.

QTY :

Same movement. Different mindset.

The black dial FXR-4 strips back the visual noise and forces attention onto what actually matters, the movement.

Created by Jean-Marc Fleury, the watch is built around the in-house FM04 calibre, a ground-up reworking of the Lemania 2310 architecture. This is not cosmetic. The movement has been expanded, reinforced, and upgraded to deliver modern reliability without losing its mechanical identity.

Column wheel. Horizontal clutch. That core remains intact.

Where it improves is in execution. A 60-hour power reserve replaces the shorter reserves of the original, while the frequency is set at 21,600 vph for balance between durability and precision. The movement is also physically larger at 32.5mm, giving both improved stability and a more substantial visual presence through the caseback.

Finishing is where it separates from standard chronographs at this level. NAC-treated German silver bridges create a contemporary tone, while traditional techniques, straight graining, mirror polishing, black polishing, and hand-finished edges, reinforce its haute horlogerie positioning.

The black dial shifts the watch into a more technical space. Horizontal satin brushing provides texture without reflection, while sub-dials are kept deliberately clean. Only the date register carries numerals, maintaining clarity across the display. Red lacquer chronograph hands provide the only contrast, and it is controlled.

The 40mm case in recycled stainless steel keeps proportions balanced and aligns with Fleury’s sustainability approach. A discreet date corrector at 7 o’clock is integrated into the case without disrupting the design.

Limited to 11 pieces per dial, this is the more focused version of the FXR-4. Less expressive than the blue. More direct.

If the blue is about presence, this is about intent.
