Projekt 01 Variant B
?>The Projekt 01 Variant B is a limited-edition 199-piece execution of Kollokium’s experimental design platform, conceived by Manuel Emch, Barth Nussbaumer, and Amr Sindi. Not structured as a traditional brand, Kollokium operates as a creative laboratory, and the Projekt 01 embodies this philosophy with an industrial, die-cast steel architecture and a highly conceptual display. The 40mm case is produced using die casting rather than conventional machining, giving the watch its distinctive matte, organic surface and soft industrial tactility. A cylindrical sapphire crystal forms the upper cover, secured to a two-part steel housing with integral lugs and a valve-style crown. Water resistance is rated to 30m. Case height is 11mm.
The dial is a technical centrepiece: a black textured base set with 468 individually applied cylindrical markers in six diameters and heights, each sandblasted and filled with blue-emission Super-LumiNova. These elements create an intentionally pixelated display in which baton and dot hour markers subtly emerge. Variant B differs from Variant A through its monochrome seconds hand and blue SLN. Skeletonised oblong hour and minute hands with SLN outlines ensure functional legibility.
Powering the watch is the La Joux-Perret G101, an automatic calibre measuring 26mm × 4.45mm with a 4Hz frequency, 24 jewels, and a 68-hour power reserve, delivering reliable timekeeping within a steel movement container fitted to the lower case element. Functions include hours, minutes, and central seconds. The watch is supplied on a black elastic textile single-piece strap with a die-cast steel hook buckle, providing a secure and lightweight fit. This timepiece is pre-owned in good condition with box and papers and will be delivered with an additional one-year TLE warranty for added peace of mind.
