An exclusive release of only 18 pieces, the Czapek Promenade Plissé Ivory watch features an exquisite dial crafted in partnership with Kari Voutilanen’s renowned dial Manufacture Metalem. A timepiece of elegant perfection, this beautifully crafted model is presented in a slender 38mm stainless steel case, and is powered by the acclaimed automatic Czapek SXH5 in-house mechanical calibre featuring decoration to Haute Horlogerie standards. From the texturing of its ivory toned dial, through to the technical mastery of its micro-rotor movement, this is a visually alluring watch that perfectly expresses this independent watchmaking company’s flair for both design and also technical mastery.
Review
The dial surface of the watch offers a wonderful interplay of texture light and illusion. Focussed on the small seconds at 4.30, the undulations of its pattern recall the motion of silken pleats of fabric which are disrupted when they reach the subdial, before reforming to surround it once again.
