The Rolex Daytona 116523 is a two-tone chronograph housed in a 40mm Oyster case crafted from stainless steel and 18k yellow gold. This model is powered by Rolex’s in-house Caliber 4130, an automatic chronograph movement featuring a column wheel and vertical clutch system for precise activation and reliability. It offers a 72-hour power reserve and is COSC-certified. The black dial features applied gold hour markers with Chromalight luminescence and three recessed sub-dials running seconds at 6 o’clock, 30-minute counter at 3, and 12-hour counter at 9. A fixed 18k yellow gold bezel is engraved with a tachymeter scale for speed measurements up to 400 units per hour. The sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant, and the Triplock screw-down crown ensures water resistance up to 100 meters. The Oyster bracelet integrates brushed steel outer links with polished gold center links and is secured by a folding Oysterlock safety clasp. This pre-owned piece is in good condition and includes its original box and papers, with a Rolex warranty dated 2018. An additional one-year TLE warranty is included for added peace of mind.
