The Romain Jerome Tetris-DNA is one of the most imaginative creations from the brand's celebrated Generational Icons collection, paying tribute to the legendary video game that captivated a generation. Produced in a limited edition of just 84 pieces, a reference to the year Tetris was introduced in 1984, the watch transforms one of gaming's most recognisable visual themes into a striking piece of Swiss watchmaking.
Housed in the brand's distinctive 46mm black PVD-coated titanium Moon Invader case, the Tetris-DNA immediately stands out with its colourful dial composed of hand-set anodised aluminium "Tetriminos" crafted in a Clous de Paris pattern. Set against a black Matrix-style background engraved with brick motifs, the dial recreates the appearance of an active Tetris game while maintaining excellent legibility through its arrow-shaped hands with blue-emission Super-LumiNova. The signature articulated lugs, mounted on ball-and-socket joints, ensure exceptional comfort despite the bold case dimensions.
Powering the watch is the automatic RJ001-A calibre, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with 23 jewels and delivering approximately 42 hours of power reserve. A specially engraved Tetris medallion adorns the caseback, further reinforcing the watch's connection to one of the most iconic games ever created.
This particular example is offered in good pre-owned condition and comes complete with its original box, papers, and warranty dated March 2016. Number 7 of the 84-piece limited edition, it represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most collectible and recognisable watches ever produced by Romain Jerome.
