S.U.F Helsinki 180 Kelo Blue is a 50-piece limited-edition automatic field watch inspired by Finland’s Arctic wilderness, drawing design cues from the silvery tones of ancient kelo trees and the blue twilight skies of Lapland.
S.U.F Helsinki 180 Kelo Blue is a 50-piece limited-edition automatic field watch inspired by Finland’s Arctic wilderness, drawing design cues from the silvery tones of ancient kelo trees and the blue twilight skies of Lapland.
Crafted from Finnish Outokumpu SUPRA 316L/4435 stainless steel, the compact case measures 38.7 mm in diameter, 9.4 mm in thickness and 46.4 mm lug-to-lug, offering a balanced and highly wearable profile. Water resistance is rated to 10 ATM, making it a practical daily companion with strong field-watch credentials.
Power comes from a modified Swiss Soprod A10 automatic calibre, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hertz. The movement provides hours, minutes and seconds, 25 jewels, a 42-hour power reserve, and is rhodium plated with perlage and Côtes de Genève finishing. Each movement is checked, oiled and regulated at the SarpanevaUhrenFabrik workshop in Helsinki.
Dial execution is centred on the Kelo Blue sunray-brushed “Cali” dial, with silver-printed Scandi-noir numerals, a railroad minute track, and painted Super-LumiNova indexes and numerals. Matte rhodium-finished steel hands with Super-LumiNova are paired with a traditional lollipop blued steel seconds hand, also filled with Super-LumiNova.
Completed on a navy blue Epsom leather strap with an 18 mm Sarpaneva stainless steel pin buckle, the 180 Kelo Blue combines Finnish independent watchmaking, restrained proportions and strong everyday usability.
