The Sartory‑Billard SB04‑E “Year of the Fire Horse” is a 26‑piece limited‑edition mechanical watch built around a 39.5 mm stainless‑steel case that combines a polished concave bezel with a satin‑finished mid‑case and delivers 100 m of water resistance, aided by a solid construction and luminous‑treated crown for enhanced usability.

Its defining feature is a multi‑stage, internationally crafted dial: machined in Switzerland, then laser‑engraved in the United States by artist Ron Elkins to depict a dynamically posed horse surrounded by swirling forms symbolizing speed and intensity, after which it is returned to Switzerland for thick 24‑carat gold plating before receiving final hand‑applied Chinese ink detailing by Armand Billard in France—ensuring every dial is visually unique. Diamond‑cut hands and applied markers maintain clarity without detracting from the engraved artistry.

Powering the watch is the Swiss automatic La Joux‑Perret G101 movement, operating at 4 Hz with a 68‑hour power reserve and decorated with Côtes de Genève on its bridges and tungsten rotor. The watch is delivered on a red leather strap—symbolic of luck during the Chinese New Year—with optional colors available on request.
