URWERK UR-120 is a highly distinctive satellite-hour timepiece that continues the brand’s futuristic approach to independent watchmaking. Measuring 47 mm x 44 mm x15.8 mm, its sculptural case combines sandblasted titanium with a sandblasted steel bezel, finished with black Diamond-Like Carbon treatment and silicon coating.

Powered by the self-winding UR-20.01 calibre, this complex mechanical movement operates at 4 Hz, or 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers a 48-hour power reserve. Its display features URWERK’s signature rotating satellite system, with digital hour satellites mounted on triple planetary gears and analogue minutes shown across a curved scale.

Each satellite is formed from two sub-elements that split open, rotate on their own axis, and close again as they transition through the display, creating the model’s famous“Spock” Vulcan salute effect. A curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment protects the display, while water resistance is rated to 3 ATM.
