One of the most profoundly talented innovators and inventors in contemporary independent watchmaking, Luca Soprana’s name is synonymous with some of the most extraordinary horologic creations of the past twenty years. Based close to Vaumarcus Castle in Neuchâtel, the Italian prodigy has worked on projects as technically diverse as the Astronomia for Jacob & Co, to the Trio and Janvier pieces by Vianney Halter, as well as taking on and finally bringing to life the unfinished Rémontoir d’Égalité masterpiece, which had been the brainchild of the late Derek Pratt.
Finally stepping out of the shadows and from behind the scenes of some of the most celebrated timepieces of our time, Luca Soprana’s name now proudly adorns the dial of his own creations. Manufactured almost entirely by hand, using time-honoured traditional watchmaking techniques, and finished to the uncompromising standards of haute horlogerie, these timeless works of mechanical art are exclusive and individually unique.
