J.N. Shapiro Infinity Series Pure Black Zirconium Dial

Having marked a renaissance in American watchmaking with the Resurgence watch, J.N. Shapiro evolve their portfolio with the Infinity Series Pure collection featuring a magnificent black zirconium hand-guilloché dial, rendered with one of the most complex patterns ever achieved using traditional engine-turned methods. Named Infinity Weave, this exclusive motif displays an intricate basket weave within a basket weave pattern adding incredible depth to the centre dial and small seconds dial. Circular brushed chapter rings add contrast, with further detailed guilloché work defining the minutes track, while to finish, the dial perimeter has been embellished with barleycorn guilloché. The darkened tone of the dial surface is enhanced by the addition of hand-finished hands, and a plaque which declares the provenance of the piece, with these elements crafted from resplendent 18ct white gold.

The watch resides in a 37mm case with a height of 8.8mm which is sealed to a water resistance of 50m. Manufactured from stainless steel, the housing has a brushed mid section and a polished bezel, and features a solid caseback embellished with exquisite hand-engraved and hand-guilloché decoration, with an infinity symbol at its centre. Beating within at a rate of 21’600 vib/h (3Hz), the La Joux-Perret manual winding calibre has a power reserve of 90 hours when fully wound.

The J.N. Shapiro Infinity Series Pure watch is available with either black zirconium or frosted silver dial options and will be a limited edition of only 18 pieces of each edition.
