KRAYON X PAC-MAN

Combining technical mastery and Haute Horlogerie finishing with playful pop culture, this stunning 15 piece edition features the signature Krayon complication which can be set up to the owner’s specification to replicate with accuracy the seasonal spread of daylight and darkness at a specific “home’ location throughout the year.  A superb evolution to an already highly desirable collection, the Krayon PAC-MAN watch captures the nostalgia of PAC-MAN, widely considered to be the greatest of all video games.

Beautifully arranged on a dial of polished onyx, the time is indicated via central hours and minutes hands, with the date and month in a recessed dial at the six o’clock. The maze motif is rendered in translucent tampography, so that it has an illusive presence depending on the light conditions. Taking up position on the outer ring, the dots, fruits and cute little ghosts are accompanied by PAC-MAN himself, who advances around the dial to indicate day/night. Joining this iconic bunch, the ‘great cookie’ tracks the sunset, triggering night mode, and upon midnight, the ghost gang turns blue until dawn, after which they return to their original colour tones.

The watch is housed within a platinum case, sized at 39mm diameter with a height of only 9.5mm, featuring a squat, fluted crown and a concave bezel. Through the rear sapphire crystal, the immaculate hand finishing and anglage which adorns every surface and angle of the C030 manual winding movement can be appreciated. Entirely designed and developed in-house, it stands at only 5mm tall and beats at a leisurely 21’600 vib/h (3Hz), boasting an impressive power reserve of 72 hours.

An exceptional example of independent Haute Horlogerie, the Krayon x PAC-MAN watch is released in a limited edition of only 15 pieces and the model comes presented on a black leather strap secured with a platinum pin buckle.
