Beautifully arranged throughout, the Sarek Sky Is The Limit demonstrates an appreciation for high-end horological finishing which is at the ethos of both The Limited Edition, and also GoS watches.

Working closely on the final design of the piece, Patrik Sjögren from GoS and Pietro Tomajer of The Limited Edition have created an exclusive collaborative 5 piece edition boasting a breathtaking dial whose uniquely toned mother of-pearl surface shimmers by day, and becomes a striking illuminated spectacle after dark. From its sculptural profile to its visually arresting dial, themes of Scandinavian culture pervade throughout this exceptional limited edition model.

The GoS x The Limited Edition Sarek Sky Is The Limit watch is powered by the G101 automatic calibre, operating at a frequency of 28’800 vib/h, with power reserve of 65 hours. Manufactured by La Joux-Perret to the requirements of GoS, the calibre has a contemporary anthracite finish, and the skeletonised rotor is further embellished with the distinctive Triskele symbol at its centre and applied nano ceramic. Available in a limited series of only 5 pieces, the model wears on a hand-made Salmon leather strap, secured with a pin buckle.

Within its styling, it includes elements that recall the design of ancient Viking jewellery and weaponry, together with the unmistakable characteristics of Damascus steel, which as pioneers of its use since their founding in 2007, GoS have turned into an art form, and indeed one of the Swedish brand’s most defining signatures. Created both in tribute to the long-standing relationship between GoS and Pietro Tomajer, and also to celebrate a landmark year for the team at The Limited Edition, the Sarek Sky Is The Limit watch underscores a shared admiration for Independent Watchmaking artisanship.
