The Hermle Tellurium Chrome (Ref. 22823‑V10352) is a mechanically driven astronomical clock displaying the Earth’s annual orbit around the Sun, with the globe rotating once every 24 hours and the Moon completing its 29.5‑day orbit and axial rotation to show accurate lunar phases.
The Hermle Tellurium Chrome is a mechanically driven astronomical clock displaying the Earth’s annual orbit around the Sun, with the globe rotating once every 24 hours and the Moon completing its 29.5‑day orbit and axial rotation to show accurate lunar phases. A flat dial indicates the 12 zodiac signs, months, and days, while a milled rosette roundel features polished depictions of the zodiac. The clock is powered by an 8‑day mechanical movement featuring a 4/4 Westminster striking mechanism on four polished bells, an 11‑jewel Swiss escapement, spring balancer, polished plates, and an automatic night shut‑off for the strike. Additional technical elements include a seconds display in the power flow and a fully machined tellurium arm showing the Sun, Moon, and Earth. The piece measures 29 × 35 cm and is available in four colourways: light green, red, blue, and black.
