The Louis Moinet Moon Meteor features a 40.7 mm Grade 5 titanium case housing the automatic manufacture calibre LM113, operating at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with 29 jewels and offering a 48-hour power reserve.
The dial combines a hand-painted celestial landscape revealed at night by luminescent pigments with four distinct meteorites: Muonionalusta meteorite on the flange, Jbilet Winselwan meteorite at 2 o’clock, Sahara 97093 meteorite at 4 o’clock, and a genuine Martian NWA 13925 meteorite at 8 o’clock.
An astronomical moon mechanism incorporates two rare lunar meteorites, Gadamis 005 and Dhofar 457, representing the full moon and new moon, with an astronaut indicating the Moon’s position in its cycle as the disc rotates. The watch displays hours, minutes, seconds and the moon indication, is water resistant to 30 metres, and is fitted with a 20 mm leather strap and folding clasp. Limited production of 12 pieces.
