STELLARIUM

The Louis Moinet STELLARIUM features a 42.5 mm case combining an 18K red gold outer case with a Grade 5 titanium inner case finished in blue DLC, with polished and satin-brushed surfaces and a domed sapphire crystal.

Its complex, multi-layered dial incorporates a sapphire disc with luminescent painting and a Muonionalusta meteorite, nearly 4.5 billion years old and featuring distinctive Widmanstätten patterns, dyed deep blue using a secret process. The watch is powered by the manually wound manufacture Calibre LM180, featuring a 60-second tourbillon cage, double barrel and “Volte-face” arrangement, operating at 28,800 vph (4 Hz), with 26 jewels and a 96-hour power reserve.

The reverse presents a miniature hand-painted representation of the solar system, showing the planetary positions on March 21, 2013, with some planets measuring 2 mm or less. The watch displays hours and minutes, is water resistant to 30 metres, and is fitted with a leather strap measuring 23 mm in width and a folding clasp. Limited Production of 12 pieces.
