Legacy Machine 101 Aqua Blue

MB&F x H. Moser LM101 Aqua Blue represents one of the rarest expressions of the Legacy Machine 101, bringing together two of independent watchmaking’s most distinctive creative identities. Produced in an exceptionally limited run of just 7 pieces worldwide, this edition combines MB&F’s sculptural mechanical architecture with H. Moser & Cie.’s unmistakable minimalist aesthetic.

Housed within a 40mm stainless-steel case, a dramatically domed sapphire crystal reveals H.Moser’s signature Aqua Blue fumé dial, creating a striking backdrop for the exposed mechanical elements. Minimalist execution removes unnecessary branding and visual distractions, allowing the movement architecture to remain the dominant feature. Suspended prominently above the dial is MB&F’s oversized balance wheel, fitted with a Straumann double hairspring. Off-centre hours and minutes are displayed alongside a dedicated power-reserve indication, maintaining the distinctive Legacy Machine layout.

Power is provided by MB&F’s manually wound LM101 movement, developed in-house with movement aesthetics and finishing specifications overseen by renowned independent watchmaker Kari Voutilainen. Comprising 221 components and 23 jewels, the calibre operates at 18,000 vibrations per hour and delivers approximately 45 hours of power reserve.

Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, exquisite traditional finishing includes polished bevels, gold chatons and beautifully decorated bridges, reflecting the exceptional craftsmanship associated with both manufactures.
