The Millésime 2025 Perception 漩 (Xuán) is Atelier Wen’s second limited-edition release, following the inaugural Perception 睦 (Mù), and introduces a new craft to the collection through its hand‑cut natural pietersite dial, shaped by artisans in Zhejiang and polished in Guangdong.

Chosen for its swirling, landscape‑like textures reminiscent of traditional shānshuǐ pénjǐng miniature mountain‑water gardens, the pietersite dial is constructed in four layers inspired by ancient Chinese Sunmao architectural joinery, complemented by a huiwen-patterned chapter ring in Super‑LumiNova® X1 and rhodium‑plated applied indices.

The watch features a 40mm × 47mm × 9.4mm case made from 904L stainless steel with contrasting finishes, a double‑domed sapphire crystal with ten layers of anti‑reflective coating, and a semi‑display caseback bearing a hammered texture and raised stone‑lion motif.

It is powered by a customised 3.4mm‑thin Dandong Peacock SL1588A automatic calibre, decorated with circular côtes de Genève, heat‑blued screws, and a black‑rhodium‑plated tungsten rotor, delivering a 41‑hour power reserve, 28,800 bph beat rate, and accuracy of ±10 seconds per day after adjustment in five positions and temperature testing by HRILI.

The integrated 904L bracelet features individually chamfered links, a taper from 22mm to 18mm, quick‑release spring bars, and Atelier Wen’s proprietary patent‑pending on‑the‑fly micro‑adjustment system with a telescopic deployant blade for increased comfort.
