SB07 Maki-e x Martin Pulli

Sartory-Billard SB07 Maki-e is a highly distinctive limited-edition sports watch that brings together modern French independent watchmaking and traditional Japanese decorative artistry. Created in collaboration with Martin Pulli, the SB07 Maki-e is limited to only 10 pieces in total, with just 5 examples produced in each dial colour. Its handmade Maki-e dial is crafted by master artisan Kosetsu, also known as Tatsuya Todo, using layers of lacquer and mother-of-pearl fragments to create a rich, iridescent surface with depth, texture and natural variation. As each dial is individually executed by hand, every example carries its own unique visual character.

The watch is housed in a 40 mm stainless steel case, measuring 10.65 mm thick with a 48mm lug-to-lug profile, offering a balanced and wearable presence on the wrist. With 100 metres of water resistance, the SB07 combines artistic finishing with the practicality expected of a contemporary sports watch. The dial is fitted with moulded Super-LumiNova indexes, numerals and hands, while the minute track is pad-printed in Super-LumiNova on a sapphire crystal disc, giving the watch strong legibility while preserving the depth of the dial construction.

Power is supplied by the La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement, offering a generous 68-hour power reserve. The movement is finished with a Grade 5 titanium fluted rotor and hidden tungsten weight, visible through the exhibition caseback.

This example is pre-owned and presented in good condition. It comes complete with box, papers and warranty dated 2024, together with two extra rubber straps in blue and white. It will also be supplied with an additional one-year TLE warranty for added peace of mind.
