Rogé Bastide
Inspired by the legacies of historical French horologic pioneers such as Antide Janvier, Jules and Pierre Leroy and Jean-André Lepaute, Rogé Bastide is a young brand with a fervently Gallic personality.
The realisation of the ambitions of two French WOSTEP trained watchmakers, Romain Rogé and Stéphan Bastide, their shared aspiration was to establish a company whose entire ethos was to perpetuate their country’s long and illustrious history in the fabric of watchmaking; one which spans right back to the late 1500s.
Based in the French town of Morteau, itself only a few kilometres from the Swiss border and home to a prestigious watchmaking school, and working primarily with French artisans when specialist outsourced skills were required on their first project, the company founders have set a high benchmark with their debut creation, the stunningly beautiful La Concorde manual winding tourbillon.
