SINGER REIMAGINED TRACK 1 FLAMBOYANT RED EDITION

The way we view and interact with the chronograph complication was transformed in 2017 with the release of the Singer Reimagined Track 1 watch. And, since then, this monumental model has become an iconic timepiece, one which represents the essence of modern day independent watchmaking. The exclusive new Singer Reimagined Track 1 Flamboyant Red edition adds vibrancy to this already highly desirable collection.

Right from the beginning, aficionados throughout the world immediately recognised that the Track 1 model was indeed a revolutionary timepiece. For more than two centuries, the chronograph complication had typically displayed the lapsed seconds, minutes and hours on separate subdials. Although focusing the eye on this trio of sources on the dial had caused generations of wearers a subtle inconvenience, its resolution was one which was largely overlooked.

Working alongside specialist horologic design company Agenhor, Singer Reimagined established a clear-cut solution. On the dial of the Track 1, the hours and minutes display was moved to two rotating rings on the outer rim of the dial. The chronograph functions of elapsed seconds, minutes and hours are indicated on a single central display, thus dispelling with the need for individual subdials.  This entire rethink created a chronograph dial which enabled intuitive and precise reading of the indications instantaneously.

To mark the occasion of the 2021 Dubai Watch Week exhibition, Singer Reimagined have presented the Track 1 Flamboyant Red, a dynamic edition limited to 25 pieces, which brings an exciting new dial aesthetic to the collection.

The model is housed within a lightweight Grade 5 titanium case sized at 43mm, whose profile is enhanced with a new circular brushed finish with hand-polished edges. The centrepiece of the watch is its ebullient dial in a particularly deep red hue. Enlivened with sun-ray and circular brushed finishes, which give it fiery intensity, it  is an arresting feature which complements the brilliant orange finish on the hands. While styled for supreme legibility, the superb contrasting colourways and the considered approach to the design of every subtle detail is typical of the Singer Reimagined portfolio, and is one aspect which makes their timepieces stand apart.

Beneath the sapphire glass caseback, the self winding, automatic AgenGraphe movement by Agenhor is extraordinary.  At its very heart, a groundbreaking chronograph module seamlessly integrates with the mechanical elements around it, and this enables the operation of this superb central chronograph. Beating at 21’600 vph it is good for 55 hours of power reserve when fully wound.

The Track 1 Flamboyant Red is a limited release of 25 numbered pieces and comes presented on a black textile strap with red stitching and screw down black DLC rivets, secured with a grade 5 titanium folding clasp.
