A contemporary Haute Horlogerie masterpiece, the Frédéric Jouvenot Helios Tradition displays the passing of the hours through a fascinating mechanical sundial, with twelve sunrays that emanate from a central minutes dial. In sequence, each ray completes a 180° motion showcasing the meticulous finishing achieved by hand on each piece and transforming to evoke light and shadow. Providing a mesmerising background for the poetic motion of the sunrays, guilloché work rendered by hand in a spiral pattern completes the arrangement.

Comprising of more than 100 components, the complication than enables this spectacular dial arrangement measures just 12mm across and 5mm tall, with 24 jewels that ensure the sequential coordination of the sunrays. In order to shrink it within the new, smaller case size, Frédéric Jouvenot had to reimagine the radial and vertical arrangement of the components, however the result of this extraordinary achievement has created a piece that fulfils the desire for a smaller more wearable timepiece. Available in either 18ct rose gold or stainless steel, the case of the Frédéric Jouvenot Helios Tradition is beautifully executed throughout, and is sized at 39mm diameter with a height of 12mm.

On turning over, one can appreciate the immaculate hand finishing that has been devoted to the in-house manufacture manual winding movement. Beating at 28’800 vph, the calibre has a power reserve of 50 hours, and the detailing of its impeccable Côtes de Genève decoration, beveled edges and mirror polished finishes denotes its Haute Horlogerie prestige.
