A bold reinterpretation of a 1976 icon, the AMIDA Digitrend Steel ‘Take Off Edition’ brings back the legendary mechanical digital “driver’s watch” with modern precision and flair. Rooted in the brand’s storied history, founded in 1925 and famed for its avant-garde prism display, the revived Digitrend preserves the soul of the original while enhancing every technical and aesthetic detail. This limited edition features a 316L stainless steel case measuring 39.6mm wide x 39mm long x 15.6mm high, finished in a mix of satin brushing and polished accents. Its standout feature remains the prism-based Light Reflective Display (LRD), enabling the wearer to view jumping hours and sweeping minutes at a 90-degree angle, ideal for hands-free time-checking while driving.

Powered by the Swiss Soprod Newton P092 automatic movement, the Digitrend integrates a custom in-house jumping hour module comprising nine components and six screws. The calibre operates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz), features 23 jewels, and offers a 44-hour power reserve, with finishing touches including Côtes de Genève, sandblasting, and a skeletonised rhodium-plated oscillating weight. The ‘Take Off Edition’ comes with both a charcoal Alcantara strap lined in orange calfskin and a steel bracelet, offering versatile wear. Water-resistant to 5 ATM (50m), it weighs a comfortable 110g and has a lug width of 22mm with an 18mm steel buckle. This particular pre-owned piece is offered in almost new condition, complete with box, papers, additional strap, warranty dated December 2024, and a 1-year TLE warranty for added peace of mind.
