An exceptional timepiece from youthful independent watchmaking company Behrens, the Perigee watch is powered by their first in-house developed movement, the manual winding BM01. Limited to only 200 pieces, the model is presented in a 43mm grade 5 titanium case, with a height of 16.8mm, fitted with a pronounced domed sapphire crystal which showcases the intricacies and innovation behind the various elements on the dial side. Around the perimeter of the dial, a little sphere which is synchronised to the time, revolves on the proprietary Behrens Moon Track to accurately display the position of the Moon in relationship to Earth, while an additional blue globe which turns once each 24 hours serves as a day/night indicator. The time is indicated via a complex chain driven display on which the diminutive numerals line up with a blue pointer, and this is complemented by an equally immersive retrograde minutes on an arc shaped indicator with pointer tipped hand, with illumination of the elements after dark.  Visible through the sapphire caseback, the in-house manual winding movement has a contemporary skeletonised openworked structure and it incorporates display of its power reserve of 45 hours.
