The FP Journe Octa Automatique Lune embodies the brand’s uncompromising pursuit of precision and elegance, offering a refined balance of classical aesthetics and technical innovation. Crafted in platinum and available in 40 mm with a slim 10.6 mm profile, the case frames a whitened guilloché silver dial accented by blued steel hands. Its asymmetric layout brings together centre hours and minutes, small seconds at 4:30, a large date, power reserve at 9:00, and a finely executed moon phase. Powering the watch is the in-house Calibre 1300.3, distinguished by FP Journe’s off-centre rotor and long autonomy. With an in-line lever escapement, free-sprung balance with four inertia weights, and a flat Anachron microflamed spring, the calibre delivers stable precision. Its finishing is exemplary, with circular stripes on the bridges, grained baseplate, chamfered screw heads, and polished steelwork.

Technically advanced, the movement offers an impressive 160-hour power reserve at a steady 3 Hz (21,600 vph), supported by an instantaneous date change, three-position crown, and unidirectional winding rotor. Comprising 271 components and 36 jewels, it achieves both mechanical robustness and elegance in just 5.8 mm thickness. This particular example is presented in mint condition with box, papers, and a warranty dated 2020. It will also be accompanied by an additional 1-year warranty from The Limited Edition, providing peace of mind alongside its enduring horological value.
