Housed in a 40mm 18K rose gold case and measuring 16mm in thickness, the watch is crowned with a highly domed sapphire crystal that showcases its most striking feature, the 14mm floating balance wheel, suspended dramatically above the dial. At the heart of the LM101 is an in-house manual-winding movement, developed by MB&F and finished to the highest standards under the guidance of master watchmaker Kari Voutilainen. The movement comprises 229 components and 23 jewels, offering a 45-hour power reserve from a single barrel. It operates at a traditional 18,000 vibrations per hour (2.5 Hz) and features a Breguet overcoil balance spring with a mobile stud holder, enhancing timekeeping stability. In newer editions, MB&F equips it with a Straumann® double hairspring for further precision.

The blue dial, rich in tone and meticulously finished, hosts two white subdials for hours and minutes, and a separate power reserve indicator.
