HYT H2.0 TIME IS FLUID

The H2.0 Time Is Fluid timepiece enables its wearer to make sense of the passing of time by offering a new perspective.  And this perspective is, of course, that time itself is fluid. Characterised by resplendent, luxurious aesthetics throughout, this stunning watch proclaims the brand’s commitment to their unique time-indicating complication through a declaration proudly inscribed directly onto its flange.

The watch carries a 51 mm case.  Its sleek profile is constructed from exclusive 18-carat yellow gold of 2N purity, which has been enhanced with polished and satin finishes.  Rising up from this generous housing is a domed sapphire crystal which envelopes almost the entire watch.

Around the flange, the phrase “Time Is Fluid” defines the ethos of the brand, and serves a reminder of the precious nature of every moment.  As if to emphasise its importance, each letter has been enhanced with green lacquer, and the words are underscored with an exquisite diamond guilloché ring.  Beneath the vitreous covering, the technical supremacy of the timepiece is exposed.

On the lower dial, the two multi-layer bellows which breathe life into the fluidic hour indication are laid out in a “V” configuration on the lower dial.  Together they control the precise release of two liquids, by alternatively pushing or releasing them.

Around the perimeter is the fluidic hour display, consisting of a tiny glass capillary which has been filled with two immiscible liquids, one transparent, the other blood red. As the bellows push and pull the two liquids, the hours flow by freely, without structure or rigidity.  And, at the end of twelve hours, a moment of reflection is offered, as the liquid rewinds in retrograde mode without any loss of accuracy.

Taking up position at the centre, a gold-treated minutes dial interlocks with a light grey seconds subdial.  In unison with the outer flange ring, both dials have been decorated with a superb diamond guilloché finish.  To their left, a diminutive red “HNR” hand indicates the adjustment modes of the movement for hours, neutral and rewind.

Inside, beating at 21,600vph, the manual wound movement retains a generous power reserve of 192 hours.  Its superlative finishing and unusual architecture can be appreciated through the sapphire case back. In keeping with its distinctive aesthetics, the HYT H0 Time Is Precious watch comes presented on a transparent rubber strap with a titanium folding buckle.  The HYT 2.0 Time Is Fluid model is a limited release of just 20 pieces, offering exclusivity to its wearer.
