Grand Planetarium Eccentric Meteorite
?>The Grand Planetarium Eccentric Meteorite is a horological masterpiece that combines astronomical precision with rare materials. Housed in a 44mm case crafted from a 1.09kg block of genuine meteorite, this timepiece is the only mechanical watch in the world to display the real-time orbits of all eight planets—Mercury through Neptune—around the Sun. The planetary motion is based on calculations by Christiaan van der Klaauw himself.
The dial is made of aventurine glass, evoking a star-filled night sky, and features hand-painted celestial bodies. The movement is a proprietary CVDK manufacture caliber with a 60-hour power reserve, 32 jewels, and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz). It includes a free-sprung hairspring, variable-inertia balance wheel, and a skeletonized rose gold-plated rotor shaped like the CVDK logo.
Limited edition of only 3 pieces.
