A spectacular timepiece that celebrates a Golden Jubilee year for this prestigious Manufacture, the Grand Planetarium Eccentric Manufacture Platinum watch by Christiaan van der Klaauw has the distinction of being the only mechanical Planetarium watch capable of displaying all 8 planets. Powered by a new manual winding movement conceived with Andreas Strehler, the watch features an ingenious in-house CVDK Planetarium module that is the culmination of the work of three generations at the Christiaan van der Klaauw Manufacture. Beautifully arranged on a dial of Aventurine glass, the real time motion of all 8 planets around a central golden sun motif creates an endlessly fascinating spectacle, with the exquisite aesthetic of the dial side complemented by an exhibition caseback showcasing the star-shaped bridges, skeletonised rotor and Haute Horlogerie finishing of the calibre.
