A sculptural departure from traditional watchmaking, the Kubera Series 1 combines jumping hours with peripheral minutes, powered by a La Joux-Perret calibre enhanced by Agenhor. A bold, architectural integrated design from Hautlence.

QTY :

The Kubera Series 1 is not an evolution of Hautlence. It is a reset.

Where earlier pieces leaned into overt mechanical theatre, the Kubera shifts focus to architecture. The case and bracelet are designed as a single, continuous structure, giving the watch the presence of a compact, wearable sculpture rather than a conventional timepiece.

Executed in stainless steel, the layered construction and tiered finishing create depth from every angle. The bracelet rises into the case, framing the octagonal dial in a way that feels engineered rather than styled. At 36mm by 43.8mm and just 11.3mm thick, it wears far more dynamically than its dimensions suggest.

The dial continues this architectural theme. Multi-layered with geometric engraving, the olive green lacquer base creates a trompe l’oeil effect, shifting depending on light and angle. The turquoise accents for the jumping hours aperture and peripheral minutes cursor introduce contrast without disrupting the balance.

Functionally, the watch is driven by the calibre B60 automatic movement by La Joux-Perret, paired with a jumping hours and peripheral minutes module developed by Agenhor. This is the real value driver. Agenhor’s involvement elevates what could have been a simple display into a refined mechanical system with precise, controlled motion.

Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement delivers a 70-hour power reserve and operates at 4Hz, balancing performance with practicality.

As a sister brand to H. Moser & Cie., Hautlence leverages serious watchmaking pedigree, but the Kubera Series 1 proves it is willing to challenge convention rather than rely on it.

This is not a safe buy. It is for collectors who want design, mechanics, and independence in equal measure.
