The Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Konstantin Chaykin III is a bold and imaginative collaboration that brings back the iconic “Time Eater” WristMonster in two limited-edition variants. This watch merges Louis Erard’s traditional regulator layout with Konstantin Chaykin’s whimsical and expressive design language. At its heart is the automatic Sellita SW266-1 movement, a regulator-type caliber operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 38-hour power reserve. The movement is finely decorated and features an openworked rotor bearing the Louis Erard symbol in black lacquer.
The dial is a theatrical display of horological creativity. The hours are shown via a mono-eye disk at 12 o’clock, giving the watch its signature “watchful” personality. The central minutes hand is uniquely shaped with monster-like tips, while the seconds are indicated by a rotating toothed disk at 6 o’clock, forming the creature’s mouth. The dial is framed by a colored minute ring—blue for the 42mm edition sold by Louis Erard, and red for the 39mm version sold by Konstantin Chaykin. Each version is limited to 178 pieces.
Both cases are crafted from polished stainless steel and feature domed sapphire crystals with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The transparent caseback reveals the movement and is engraved with the limited edition number. The 42mm blue edition comes with a black toad leather strap with blue stitching, while the 39mm red edition is paired with a black grained calf leather strap. Each watch is water-resistant to 5 ATM and features a crown signed by Chaykin, adding a final touch of character to this playful yet technically refined timepiece.
