Manufactured in Grade 5 titanium, the frame-like casing of the watch is both modern and sculpted in form. Fitted with individual sapphire crystal panels, it curves and flows, and from every angle it is a masterpiece of design whose airy cathedral-like architecture enhances the sound of the minute repeater, whose tone is inspired by the legendary Bo Diddley Gretsch guitar. Generously proportioned at 47.3mm across and 64.6mm lug to lug, and with a depth of 18.1mm, it certainly has an imposing presence on the wrist.

Exhibiting astounding purity, the dial is minimalist in character. Suspended above a vertical brushed backdrop, and casting its shadow upon it, it has an elevated chapter ring which reaches up to the curving front sapphire crystal, accompanied by faceted hour and minutes hands. Showcased through an openworked section at the 6 o’clock, the flying tourbillon is of generous proportions, and as it performs its lively pirouette turning on one revolution over 60 seconds, it serves to indicate the seconds.

Running at 21’600 vib/h (3Hz) the movement combines a modern aesthetic with the immaculate hand finishing which one would expect from a watch of this prestige. Fully appreciable through a sapphire section in the caseback, one can view the endlessly fascinating mechanism of the minute repeater and its tiny gongs, which on activation of the case side lever produce a supremely clean tone, which carries throughout the expanse of the watch case.
