HYT H0 KHAKI

Modern, utilitarian colour tones give the HYT H0 Khaki edition a striking yet understated character. However, after dark this piece takes on an entirely different personality, as luminescent coatings bring it to life on the wrist.

For HYT, the transition of time takes on an entirely original aesthetic. Their fluid hour indication enables time to lose some its structure and discipline. Instead, the hours flow gently, indicated via two immiscible liquids held within a tiny medical grade glass capillary tube which encircles the dial.

For this H0 Khaki model, an olive green dial provides a superb contrast for the vivid red liquid hour indication. The twin bellows which contract to force the fluid around the glass tube have been enclosed within smoky sapphire protective covers. The combination of vivid and muted shades is superb and it complements the modern minimalism which defines the H0 collection.

The piece carries a generous 48.8mm stainless steel anthracite DLC coated case but the use of metal is kept to a minimum. Instead, a massive sapphire crystal which wraps itself around the case sides provides an impressive showcase. Beneath the translucent sapphire case sides, the stencil-like numerals are laid out laterally.

By day, the purity of design of this timepiece gives it an indisputable wrist presence. However, dim the lights, and it becomes a luminous sensation.

Beneath the glass capillary and the stencil-like numerals, C7 Super-LumiNova, a luminescent coating, endows a glow-in-the-dark appearance, enhancing the originality of the hour indication to superb effect.

Elsewhere on the dial, a traditional regulateur minutes is located on an elevated central dial, flanked by a small seconds and power reserve indication. Here too, red styling touches provide vivid animation.

The powerhouse behind this impressive timepiece is the exclusive HYT mechanical manual winding calibre incorporating their exclusive patented micro-fluidic module. Its meticulous sand blasted finishing and unusual architecture can be appreciated through the rear sapphire crystal.

The HYT H0 Khaki wristwatch wears comfortably on the wrist on an integrated, tactile rubber strap in a complementary shade of green, featuring a titanium folding buckle.
