When a watchmaking company who are as imaginative as H. Moser combine Haute Horlogerie with Haute Joaillerie then you can expect something special.
By reinterpreting the subtle shading of their signature fumé dial using precious stones, H. Moser have created a rare masterpiece, the stunning Venturer Tourbillon.
The watch industry has seen many successful unions between fine watchmaking and high jewellery, but among them this Moser piece stands apart.
For this model, the gem-setters were charged with the seemingly impossible task of recreating the nuances of H. Moser’s celebrated fumé dial finish, using only gemstones. In order to achieve perfection, each stone had to conform to the strictest criteria, not just for purity and cut, each jewel was selected for its exact shade. Herein lies the secret behind the exquisite harmony in the tones of this exclusive watch dial. And, quite frankly, it is staggering.
In total, the dial has been embellished with 258 sapphires (8.92 carats) of various shades creating a subtle, yet intense aesthetic. The breathtaking circular arrangement of the jewels draws you in towards the centre, until the panorama of the impressive tourbillon stops you in your tracks.
A further 272 diamonds (7.51 carats) have been set into the 18-carat white gold case, adding opulence to its gently curved architecture. Not even the crown escapes the skilful work of the gem-setters. At its pinnacle rests a pert little cabochon diamond.
At its heart, the H. Moser Venturer Tourbillon is still a Haute Horlogerie timepiece, which boasts the highly technical HMC 802 self-winding in-house calibre. A glimpse through the curved rear sapphire is rewarded with a view of its impeccable hand-finished components and its engraved, 18-carat white gold rotor.
The calibre is also equipped with H. Moser’s innovative interchangeable Tourbillon escapement which reduces service time, and the company’s precision-enhancing original Straumann Double Hairspring®.
This one-of-a-kind piece comes presented on a hand-stitched black alligator strap and, in a final luxurious styling touch, it fastens with a diamond-set 18-carat white gold buckle.
At The Limited Edition, we value uniqueness. Even so, this “Piece Unique – Made to Order” is the ultimate in exclusivity. This model is not simply a statement of wealth, it has been designed for a connoisseur of fine watchmaking.
