Fam Al Hut Mark 1

Manufactured from stainless steel, and beautifully styled and finished, the case of the Fam Al Hut Mark 1 watch rests elegantly on the wrist displaying an elongated profile. Only 42.2mm long, 24.3mm wide, and 12.9m high, rising to 17mm at its highest point in order to accommodate the panoramic view of the bi-axis tourbillon, the diminutive proportions ensure a unique wear, and the bubble-like structure of the crystal gives the piece a tactile, artistic character.

Located on the upper, the dual-axis tourbillon with its Möbius shaped cage is endlessly fascinating, with each axis operating at differing rates of 150 seconds and 60 seconds. On the dual retrograde display at the lower dial, the squared-off seconds hand is joined by a rounded tipped hand for the jumping hour, providing an enthralling visual highlight. Openworked in arrangement, the tourbillon and time indications are surrounded by an exquisite labyrinth of components, giving a sense of the complex character of the in-house M-01t calibre.

Considering its price point, the finishing of both the case and the movement of the Mark 1 is exceptional, with more than 200 hours of craftsmanship devoted to each piece. Not simply evident the impressive detailing of the casing, which is finished with concave mirror polishing, the in-house calibre also showcases superlative hand-achieved finishing throughout. Operating at a frequency of 21’600 vib/h, and with a power reserve of 50 hours, the dial side view of the manual winding movement is complemented by a view through the case back, where the curving porthole-like aperture is an additional unique styling touch.

The Fam Al Hut Mark 1 watch is presented on an integrated rubber strap.
